Dick LaMarche – President

Dick LaMarche has been in the property management business or related fields since 1964. He has been involved in every phase of construction, development, and management of multi-family housing.

Dick has been involved in the leadership of the Houston Apartment Association and the Texas Apartment Association for many years and currently serves on the board of directors of both organizations. In recognition of his many contributions to the apartment industry, Mr. LaMarche was named "Go Getter of the Year" by the Houston Apartment Association and has served as its President. In 2008, Mr. LaMarche was elected to the Hall of Fame of the Houston Apartment Association in recognition of his career accomplishments.

Mr. LaMarche was awarded the professional designation of Certified Apartment Property Supervisor by the National Apartment Association.

Greg Douglas – Vice President

Greg Douglas began his apartment management career doing maintenance while attending college. With two years of maintenance experience on properties of over 200 units, he graduated from college and spent another two years as a resident manager on a 442-unit apartment complex. He was then promoted to regional manager and later to executive property manager where he was responsible for 5,500 units and 175 employees. He has been a founding co-owner of Creative Property Management Company since 1978.

Greg Douglas was awarded the Institute of Real Estate Management designation of Certified Property Manager. Mr. Douglas is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Texas.

Over the years, Mr. Douglas has been involved in the education and training of property managers and resident managers, and teaching courses in the Certified Apartment Management Program and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor program. He has lectured at many seminars, locally and nationally, and has written articles and educational course material on the subject of professional apartment management.  He has been Chairman of the Houston Apartment Association Educational Committee and a member of several other committees in addition to being a past Director.

Bill Elsbree – Vice President

Bill Elsbree started his career working for a national accounting firm from 1980 until 1985, specializing in the auditing and syndication of multi-family housing properties. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983 and maintained this certification through 2000.  In 1985, he joined the staff of a multi-family housing development firm serving as an in-house analyst.  His efforts focused on the financing, managing, and redevelopment of older, distressed affordable rental housing properties, along with the financing of newly constructed developments.  Bill started working with Creative Property Management Co. in 1997 and manages a wide variety of governmental and institutional relationships for clients.

His work has involved a range of public funding sources, including Section Eight, Section 236, HOME and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. He is a non-practicing member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
